'''Publishing using FTP'''

* Connect to the web server as: '''<tt>ftp studentname@students.ee.sun.ac.za</tt>'''

* Copy the web files to the ''public_html'' folder.

* Check that your FTP publishing software can specify a folder to copy the files to.

'''Publishing using SSH'''

* Connect to the web server as: '''<tt>ssh studentname@students.ee.sun.ac.za</tt>'''

* Copy the web files to the ''public_html'' folder.

* Check that your SSH publishing software can specify a folder to copy the files to.

'''Web Folder Location'''

* By default students accounts are located under the directory ''''/home/students''''.

* The web folder that is served up by Apache is ''''/home/students/studentname/public_html''''.

* The full web reference to the home web folder is therefore: <tt>http://students.ee.sun.ac.za/home/students/studentname/public_html</tt>

* Apache references the web folder path name using the tilde (~).

* Therefore the shortened reference is: <tt>http://students.ee.sun.ac.za/~studentname</tt>
